Anybody know if we'll see a 357 version? Failing that, will a M&PC bbl fit in a Shield?

I would like to see a .357 Sig version, but I doubt it will happen.

The best we can hope for is, if the Shield can withstand the pressures of .357 Sig, that someone would make an aftermarket barrel for it.

I have no idea if the compact barrel will fit the Shield, but if it does I imagine someone will be trying it out in the Shield 40.

A 357 sig could be possible I think... Based on Glock's baby models 26,27,& 33 which is the sig. They are all the same platform, it works for them so a .40 Shield... a 357 sig... should work, I guess we'll see. Demand may play a major role as well (if the gun is able to handle it).

Storm Lake put me on a "waiting list" in case they decide to produce 9mm and 357 Sig barrels for the Shield 40. Contact them if you are interested -- if the demand is great enough the barrels will be made...

Sounds excellent.

I'm a huge fan of the .357 SIG cartridge, and would be carrying
my old MP357 Compact IF it was as slim and sinfully light as my
9mm SHIELD.

I'll be sending an email and urge other .357 SIGites to do so as well.
