What's a good price for a 360J that's in like new condition?

Beats me.
I recently read about the 360J and it is an interesting gun.
A major modern police agency still using revolvers, and their choice and doctrine are fascinating.

I have the good fortune to have two. Paid $350 for the first one & $425 for the other. Even with COVID, I doubt that you will have to pay more than $475 for one in NIB condition, at least around here. They just don’t seem to command as much value as a Model 60, but more than a 642 or 637. The 360’s in .357 are a different story - a lot more expensive.

They used to be a bargain. I still don’t know that I would want to pay more than $500 OTD or anymore than I would for a regular Airweight

I appreciate everyone's responses... I'm surprised at the significant difference in pricing between the 360 and 360J since they're practically the same except the ability/option to shoot .357. Since I don't have any interest in shooting .357 in an airweight, the .38 only is actually more desirable to me.

S&W 357 Mag J-frames have always been a premium over 38 Special J-frames.

FYI: model# 360J is not unique to the older 38 Special black Airweight Sc/Al framed model.

S&W reused that designation on (at least one) later model(s).

I have a 2016 M360J .357Mag 2-Tone.

I paid around $350 for mine a little over a year ago then sold it because
it would only shoot 158gr bullets POA/POI.
I tried Federal 130gr Train/target FMJ, Winchester 125gr+p JHP and
Speer Gold Dot 135gr+p JHP. None hit POA/POI. Just Sayen!

Maybe someone on this Forum could comment. I really liked the gun.

That's pretty much standard fare; high speed lightweight bullets hit below POI with fixed sight revolvers that were regulated originally for slower heavier bullets.

You just have to compensate for the difference in POI or buy a gun with adjustable sights.

Federal, Winchester and Speer Gold Dot have been my go to ammo for SD for 20 plus years. I have owned a S&W model 60, a 642, two Taurus snub nose (mod 85 & 856UL) and a Colt that all shot POA/POI.
Both the 642 and 856UL weigh almost the same as the 360J.
In shooting/owning 14 fixed sighted revolvers, only the 360J didn’t Shoot POA/POI with the above ammo. Just Sayen.
BLUEDOT37 is totally correct. You just have to compensate (if needed) once you find the ammo your gun likes. I’m an old guy and habits are hard to break. If you get a 360J, it’s a great gun!

P.S. All the above ammo brands were 125gr to 135gr. Jhp/fmj.
I was told that the 360J would shoot 158gr to POA/POI.
Don’t know, never tried.

Unfortunately, I thought about it too long and someone else picked it up.

My 360J was from the first run of them back in '08, it was $409 from Bud's. The prices have been up and down since then but I'd say $400-$450 for one LNIB would be worth it. They were the least expensive scandium J frames you could by and the frame is the same as the .357mag 360, which is why I bought it. I used it for a 9mm project that I chronicled here on the foum way back when. Great gun, still carry it regularly.
