New member, curious about ship date. Sorry about quality of snapshots, but it a family heirloom shooter. Was my dad's, and I have run a lot of rounds through it, mostly target shooting wad cutters. SN is S 122991, same number in ejector cover, 38 spl

Thanks. It is a lot of fun to shoot, but haven't taken it out for years. Used to figure I could shoot it for less than a 22 since I rolled my own, and sister worked at Speer, so the WC's were cheap.

Wadcutters and a nice Smith & Wesson revolver.......That's my idea of good, clean fun........It don't get no better than that for me.......Enjoy you Outdoorsman.....

Have you run any .38-44 level fodder thru it? Try a 158 LSWC @ about 1200 fps. A new world will open for you.

lebomm, I have previously worked some "hunting" rounds for it. 140 gr JHP, with 6 gr of Unique. Scored a coastal blacktail in really brushy country with it. Very accurate and intuitive to shoot.
