38 cal cast lots of lub.

I bought some 38 cast bullits 158 grwith gas check they have a lot of clear to yellow lube .it's soft enough to scrape off with finger .should I try to clean them up a little or will they be alright to shoot.38 SPL.

They even lubed the top groove/crimp groove.

Sometimes too much lube affects accuracy with lite loads/slow bullets (fliers).

I have 300 i my load some for 357.will watch the build up.
 
As others have said, "Load 'em up . . .Shoot 'em up!"
 
Add a little more flare to the case mouths before seating and that will help keep lube from being scraped off. A popsicle stick is just the right size for cleaning out the heavy lube from the inside of the seating die, once it builds up, which it will. That makes is easier to clean the rest of the lube from the die.

Use as is and load as usual. Watch the exterior of the case for smears of bullet lube and make sure cartridge length does not shrink because the bullet is getting seated deeper from lube buildup in your seater die. The seater die may need to be cleaned after 200 rounds to remove lube buildup.
