It is a fairly late 4th model from about 1905. Others here may have a more specific production date.

Kull actually offers these old-timers in single gun auctions??
(Not like RIA that bundles 5 or 6 together and pushes the price up to where you have to buy 5 to get 1...)

I will have to start paying attention to their auctions....

I follow about 50 different gun auctions via Proxibid, or other online auction services, around the US daily and I've noticed a distinct decline in prices paid for older guns, especially the more common ones like S&W top break revolvers over the last couple years. Gun show sellers are gradually catching up with the trend, however many of them paid higher amounts sometime ago the get their inventory and have not yet arrived at prices to move their inventory in today's declining market. If you are looking at your collection to bring retirement income, buy only the highest quality specimens with proven histories. They are currently holding their own value wise, but still take awhile to achieve a price approaching value. Ed.
