Hey, if anyone is interested, after many years searching for a spring and plunger that fits in the trigger that activates the cylinder stop on first and second model.38 da., I have finally found one. Here are the measurements, They would be simple to make. Plunger- height 0.141. thickness 0.122. Spring height 0.328 thickness 0.120. I hope this helps someone cuz these parts are near impossible to find.

Thanks! Hopefully I never need one, but I have examples of both the 1st (with straight cut sideplate) and the 2nd.

thomask, great info. How many coils on the spring and what diameter wire was used, please?

Weii, as luck would have it, I dropped the damn spring, Its gone. I can tell you its weaker than a pen spring. I ordered a spring assortment on amazon and I will update as soon as I can find one that works.I believe it was aprox ten coils very small wire diameter.

Update. amazon springs work perfect. Uxcell 3mm od wire size 0.2 mm 10 mm length. Had to cut a few coils for length. They are 6 bucks for 5 of them. Hope this helps
