I inherited this gun and am wondering if anyone can tell me a bit about and what it is worth?

This is not my area/era of collecting, but you have the ID correct. The stocks appear to be from a 1930s I frame.

Does the serial number also appear on the rear cylinder face? On the last photo (#5), are there any barrel stampings such as the patent dates, etc. on the right barrel? A factory 2" barreled gun of this model would be very unusual.

Move this over to the antiques & top breaks, and I'll tell you what you have. Thanks, Ed.
