.38 Headstamp?

going through a large lot of once-fired .38 SPEC brass when I came across this headstamp.
Farsi maybe? Seems very high quality. Any ideas?

I just had to go look at Browning's ammo site and found they make one of the oddest 38 special factory loads out there.
38 Special Trail Force
2 copper disks with #9 shot in between them for a total 1/4 oz. payload.

No ... nothing as exotic as Farsi .... just made in the USA Browning .
I call it their "buck mark" but I'm not sure what browning calls it ...

Two copper gas checks with shot in-between.

I have done similar in 44 using cork or felt "filler" wads I made with a punch.
I even went so far as to neck down .445 cases, which are the exact right length to fill a 44 special cylinder end to end.
Managed to squeeze in 1/2 oz shot but the experiment was a failure like many bottleneck revolver rounds.
There was not enough pressure to "capture" the brass against the walls of the cylinder and the setback tied up the revolver.
Back to the CCI plastic shot cases for the 1 or 2 rounds per decade I shoot of those

Factory revolver shot shells are few and far between and besides the 22LR that 38 special looks to be one of the more anemic.
I have played with 22LR shot.
Good for taking out bees.
One at a time.
