I finally got to take me Safety hammerless out to the range today and was suprised at the results ! ! ! It is a 3rd change with the common 3 1/4" barrel, I believe given the serial # it is from 1891.
These shots were from 25', standing, two hand hold, It shot a bit high, but grouped very well for a 117 year old gun!

Both views are of the same target,, Both groups are 5 shots, It is a shame I had a flyer in each group. If not????

The lemon squeezer is a good well made revolver and can be quite accurate, particularly since you can stage the trigger. BTW thats good shooting with a 100+ yr old gun.

Pred: That's awesome shooting by both you and your beautiful, old Smith & Wesson! You deserve credit for shooting that old gal! I'm with you, here's my 122 year old 3rd Model at 7 yards:

I am happy to see that they are such good little shooters! I dont do any better with most of my others. Great little shooters, Just wish that it would hold a common 38 special round!
I even picked it up for $100 clams!

Peter.

Hi! Peter,, Love it when we get to hear and see about the oldies. With shooting that good who needs a .38 special. I am an oldie myself and enjoy reloading/ shooting these old girls.
