Here are my 38 Single Action Boxes. I’m not sure if the later box is correct for an early Mod. Of 91, but that’s what I have in it currently.

I recently received a Baby Russian box from someone I have been trading with over the last year or so. This is the finest example I have ever seen. It is hard to believe it has survived this long. Now I need to find an engraved or super high condition Baby Russian for it.

BTW - I never noticed the Letter's on the cover that correspond with the instructions on the inside.

Great question. This is for a 3 1/4" box. I only have one 4" box at this point, the one in the upper right on this photo.

What is most striking about this box is it demonstrates that there was yellow accents printed on the label. This isn’t evident on any other box I’ve seen as it must easily fade. It makes the most attractive box ever used by Smith & Wesson really shine.

When I first picked it up, I thought it could be a repo. The way the box feels and looks made me double check it. Old cardboard tends to warp, sag, get tired over the years. This one "feels" new.

I am not a fan of reproduction items, but I could see using this box label to create some cool retro items as a base.
