Welcome to the forum. Not enough info to identify model and grips needed. On the bottom of the grip frame there will be a serial number. There will be up to 6 digits and maybe a letter off to one side. Maybe the gun shop that sold it would put some smaller grips on it for you also. The grips that are on it now may be OK for her. Oversize grips sometimes feel good for small hands. Smaller grips may be better for carry though. Post serial # and x out last 1 or 2 digits if you like. Post a pic, then we can tell if it is round or square butt. There are probably many grip options for you.

Please post a picture along with SN so we know what you have. eBay is a good source of grips, so long as you know what you need. As no one has yet stated this, CTG is simply an abbreviation for "Cartridge." Virtually all S&W revolvers of all types have that stamping on the barrel, and it is not a model or type designation. On newer S&W revolvers, there will be a Model stamping on the inside of the frame when you open the cylinder, something like "Mod 10-6". Older ones do not have that stamping, just meaningless assembly numbers.
