.38 Special

I have recently acquired a .38 special Smith & Wesson with S/N K 930xxx. I have no idea what i have here but appears to be somewhat old yet in excellent condition. Could anyone help with aging and possible value to this gun?

Sounds like a model 15 or 14 from the serial number. 15s had a 2" or 4" barrel. The 14s had a 6 or 8 3/8" barrel usually. From the serial number I would guess that it was made in the late 1960s to the early 1970s. Value would depend on condition. Post some pictures and we can tell you more.
