Yes, as others have said. Same diameter but typically lighter weight. Usually in the 90-95 grain range.

You will see that virtually all "9mm" cartridges use bullets from .355" to .357", with a few notable outliers like 9mm Makarov.

38 super is .356, I'm sure.355 work but not optimal.

You can find some loads for 115gn projectiles in.380, but it doesn't leave much space for powder.

With 122-grain flat nose cast bullets, I've been able to safely achieve 850 fps using 231 powder, but I don't think you could get that speed with jacketed bullets of the same weight.
