I bought the wife a .380 BG for christmas she likes it except for the heavy trigger pull.any recomendations for a gunsmith to fix this? Trigger measured a bit over eight pounds!!!

I don't know about any shop but it's do-able to reduce the trigger pull some. The trigger springs need to be worked on. Another option is to have your wife dry fire it often. In doing so she will weaken the springs and more importantly it will strengthen her hand.

For a DAO autoloader, I'd say you're right where you need to be.
