IF you are familiar with the SA XD line you know that the slide cannot be manipulated without depressing the grip safety. My question for you S&W 380 EZ owners is: Do you need to depress the grip safety on your S&W in order to rack the slide?
I don't depress the grip safety when I rack and lock the slide to put in a magazine. And I have racked the slide at the range without a mag in to fire a single round.
