I had to send my 386 to S&W a few weeks ago because the lockup had become loose after shooting a few cylinders of Buffalo Bore Short Barrel Low Recoil Low Flash 125 grain .357's.
The gun arrived home yesterday and the lockup was tight and the extractor and cylinder stop had been replaced.
Went to the range today and fired several cylinders of .38 +p 125 grain SJHP's and some +p+ 110 grain Corbon SJHP's with no problems. My friend had some .357 home rolled mid power 158 grain HCLWC's and again no problems and the lockup remained nice and tight.
Has anyone else experienced lockup problems after firing .357's in Scandium revolvers ?

Nice. Is that a 386PD?

I have several Night Guards but none in 357, yet. No problems with lock-up in my 327TRR8 though.

Any lock-up issues wouldn't be from the Sc frame, but rather the timing related parts & their fitting, of course.

.

Funny, I was just speaking to an acquaintance who had his Night Guard lock up while he was firing it and had a dickens of a time getting it open to unload it.

It's back at Smith right know and I've asked him to keep me informed about how it turns out.

That's just what happened to mine.
