I found a 386 Night Guard and I have some thoughts on modifications. I plan to bob the hammer - (I will keep the original and fit a modified replacement) - for pocket carry. I will replace to a Wolfe Hammer Spring and Trigger Return Spring set. Finally, I will replace the firing pin with a C&S extended pin. Add a set of Ahrends Concealed Combat Grips and should be good to go. Just wondered if anyone had done anything similar and what the results were.

We just bought a 386NG for my wife to carry, and a bobbed hammer is being considered as well as a new set of grips.
I have a 386 mountain lite, will be watching to see how this post goes. Larry
A 386NG for pocket carry? You must have some big pockets. Keep us informed on how the mods go sounds interesting.
