I was reading the previous post regarding the 39-2 DEVEL conversion and had a question about the maker of a similar conversion - 39-2 ASP. The original designer and builder of the ASP was Paris Theodore. At some later date, the rights were sold to Ken Parsons, who continued the conversions.
I have an ASP in excellent condition. The serial number on the donor 39-2 indicates it was built circa. 1977. That doesn't necessarily mean the the gun was converted that year.
My question: Is there a way to determine which builder performed the conversion on my ASP? The only unusual thing I see on my gun is a bright orange dot on the bottom of the grip frame, centered behind the magazine well.

Thank You for the info. A magnet says I have a Theodore ASP.

In addition to the Guttersnipe sight material change, the 2nd generation guns were stamped ASP and location of construction. The 1st generation were only marked on the bottom of the mag. I think?

Thank you Sir.
Mine is only marked ASP on the bottom of the two Mags. Just the original 39-2 markings are on the gun.
