3913/3953

OK soo I am in need of a new holster for my 3913 and 3953 wanting an IWB hybrid with a single belt clip. As everyone knows they are hard to come by, so my question is,, has anyone used a hybrid that was made for a S&W shield? I have heard that they will fit nicely.

Check for fit first, but in all of the research I have done, these holsters work with a 3913/3953:

I have a holster for my 9C and it will not fit my 3953 in any way shape or form

I have a Clinger IWB kydex for my 6906. They use 0.080 thick Kydex and they imprint a pattern on it that looks like carbon fiber.
Very nicely made, and the best part is it goes up high enough that it can only fit in the holster if the safety is off, and it holds it in the off position.

I just checked the site (I can not post a link, sorry, rules and all) but they can make you only for a 3913, and the 3953 will fit, my 6946 fits fine as well in my holster.
The ATOM in the one I have and it cost 29,95.
It holds either pistol tight enough that I can turn the holster upside down and shake it, and the pistol stays in place.

I highly recommend them.

Just type in "Clinger holster" and it will come up.

Had a FOXX, loved the fit, but the Kydex is to thin and has cracked in less than a year

wanting a hybrid, not all kydex,, guess I will keep looking,, was hoping someone had used one made for a shield and had first hand experience.

My 3913 and 6906 fit very well in a White Hat Holster hybrid made for a Ruger SR9c. That may not help you, but.......

Holsters for 3913 are easy to find even here in Montana.....Another good substitute is using a Sig239 holster....fits like it was molded for a 3913.
My 3913 rides in a Kramer#2 IWB or a Milt Sparks VM-2 as I am not a fan of hybrid holsters....

I know this will sound crazy, but I have a Milt Sparks Versa-Max II made for my Sigma; I successfully carry my: Sigma (duh), 1006, 1086, 3913 and my 3953 in it. All of them 100% successfully? No; all of them 95% successfully? Yep.

I use a nearly paper thin fabric IWB Uncle Mike's for years. The clip holds tight while on my motorcycle.

Not a hybrid, but the Alessi IWB with the single talon clip is hands down one of the best IWB holsters out there...I've got one for my 3913 and it's outstanding.

Second that sentiment. It's a great and slim complement to a 3953.
