3913 question

I have been searching for a 3913 for carry purposes and I stumbled on 2 of them. Both serial numbers start with TDT and I was wondering when they were produced? Thanks in advance.

PS Both combined would cost $150.00 more than the one I saw at auction last weekend

I don't know anything about production dates for the 3913. I do know that I really like the one I just bought. I shot it the first time today and was extremely pleased with the accuracy and functionality of this little 9mm.

The book shows the 3913 was produced from 1989 to 1999.A TSW model was produced in 2000 to 2006.

Well, I got my 3913 today. It looks to be in fine condition but it only came with 1 magazine , so off to the internet for some ordering.The dealer I bought it from had 2 with the serial numbers about 20 off. The left side of the frame and slide were lazer engraved with BO and a rack number. The dealer thinks they came from a security company but he was not sure. I thank all who have put up with my questions over the past week

My 3913 is marked B0012 on the slide, barrel and frame. A poster on here said they were from the California Dept of Corrections. Love mine so much sold my My glock and Sig. I carry it every day.

There's a lot of them out there with the California Dept of Corrections serial number on them along with Nevada Parole and Probation. You can pick them up for much less than ones not used by state agencies and traded back in. Can't see where the corrections employees or parole and probation people used them much.
