A nearby gun store has a 3913TSW listed for sale. No picture on their website, so I don't know what it looks like. I seem to remember that there are a couple of variations, so before I got up there, I have a couple of questions. Depending on the answers, I might go to take a look, although another 3rd generation Smith is nothing I need. I know, need has nothing to do with it.

Anyway, here are the questions.

1) Do they come with 7 or 8 round magazines?
2) Do they have an ambidextrous safety/decocker like the 3913 or left side only like the 3913LS/NL?
3) Do they all come with a rail on the dust cover?

1) Do they come with 7 or 8 round magazines? Both, the one with the rail has an eight round magazine, the non-rail one has a seven round magazine.
2) Do they have an ambidextrous safety/decocker like the 3913 or left side only like the 3913LS/NL? I believe both are ambi-dextrous.
3) Do they all come with a rail on the dust cover? No, the early model does not have the rail and it is the seven round model. See #1.

I see you're in MA, so am I. If you're talking about the gunshop in Middleton, MA.... I stopped by there a couple of weeks ago and was told the 3913 TSW had sold. You might want to call first to save yourself a trip if we're talking about the same gun. Good luck.

It was, thanks. I didn't figure it would hang around too long. Oh well, I have other uses for the money.
