Check the sear release lever on the 3914DAO when you replace the hammer.
On DAO models, the sear release lever is unnecessary, consequently a sear release lever lacking the "foot" that pushes against the sear, what S&W calls a "firing pin retainer spacer" is substituted.
When you install the safety levered 3913 slide you will need to "fit" a sear release lever to insure proper decock timing.
