3953 spring change

Today I sat down and changed all the springs in my 3953.Recoil,firing pin

and hammer (main) spring.Wasn't as hard as I thought it might be.

Used wolfe set with a 17 # hammer spring and a little lighter recoil spring.

I love the trigger pull now.It's great. Now to the range for testing..

I would not use a lighter recoil spring especially with the lighter hammer spring unless you're using a light reload. If you are using factory ammo stick with the stock recoil spring.

Wouldn't a lighter recoil spring cause more damage to the lightweight frame where the slide comes back and hits it?
