My LGS has a very slightly used 396-1 for 650.00, I have a 696 no dash and was thinking about getting this as a companion piece to the 696 and as a carry option to my 1911. Is this a good price?

Sounds like a fair price to me. It seems like the scandium frames have been selling for $700 up on the forums.
