3rd Generation Warranty Question?

Many of you remember that I recently came into a Gen 3 3913 that had feeding problems. After doing everything I could think of and experiment with (based on suggestions from the forum), I finally got on the S&W website and put in for a Warranty packing slip.

The question I have is: How long after putting in my request will it be before I get the email with the packing slip?

If you are not the original owner, I'd like to know how S&W handles this.

I've sent two guns I purchased used for warranty work without issue. They used to ask you on the phone when you called, now that it's done online they don't even ask.

I have the original warranty card, so as far as I'm concerned I AM the original owner.
