3RD Gens Rule!

My Model 4516-1 finally arrived this afternoon at my FFL.
I picked it up, brought it home & cleaned & lubed it. It was
in pretty good shape when it got here, just taking precautions.
Unfortunately I won't get any range time till after the holidays.
Shooting that 45 will be high priority! I tried to upload a pic
but I wasn't able to. I don't know what the deal is because I've
done it before without a problem.

Congrats! The 4516 is one of......if not the most....reliable compact 45's in existance. And I've shot just about all of them too. Colt Defender, Kimbers, Glock 36......ect.

Every 4516 I've shot has been extremely accurate too. I think you will enjoy that gun. Let us know how it shoots. Regards 18DAI

I feel I will enjoy the 4516-1 when I finally get a chance to
shoot it. I knew when I bid on it that it was a compact, but
seeing it still surprised me. My own preconceptions of a 45,
plus the way people described it(truck like, boat anchor, too
heavy)lead me to expect something massive. As it turns out,
I'll be able to use my new Don Hume belt holster(just arrived
today!)for all three of my 3RD. Gens, so I'm really happy about
that.
