3rd Model M&P almost 100

I found this 3rd Model M&P on GA a few weeks back. Roy verified it was shipped in October of 1911 so it will be 100 years old very soon. I doubt it has been fired and still retains most of its original finish, and has the original grips. High polish blue remains radiant. -Glad to see a few of these earlier M&P's are still out there in good condition. Makes the hunt worthwhile!

That's a beauty. I picked up a 1905/First a few weeks ago that is nice, but nowhere near that condition. I agree -- it's nice to find an oldie that looks almost brand new.

The fit of the sideplate is perfect, or as close to perfect as any I have
seen. That is a very nice example.

Man, that's a nice gun.A keeper for sure.I have one just like it,only it has about 75% less finish.
