3T s in a K frame

My Model 66 pictured above also is a -2 and has the trigger stop. Could it have been included in -2s with the target trigger and hammer?
Yes. After '79-ish, included with a target trigger but not the .265" service or .312 combat triggers.

I had a blued 4" Model 19 with the "3Ts" and now have a 4" Model 66 so equipped.

I was wondering how many M66's came with 3T, compared to M19's. I had 4" M66 once, it had the standard trigger and semi-target hammer and target stocks. My current M66-1 is the narrow trigger and hammer, but I wouldn't expect a 2-1/2" snubby to have anything else. The 6" M19-2 I had long ago was the standard trigger and semi-target hammer and target stocks. The 4" M19-3 I now own is 3T and came that way from the factory according to the label on the box.

Of all the triggers available on vintage S&W's my favorite is the .400" smooth combat trigger. My M28-2 has one, and I wish all my revolvers were so equipped.

Quick crunch of my database shows about 40% of M19's had TT/TH but only 10% of M66's.

Since all M66's (except the earliest) had red ramp front sights, if they had the TT/TH, they were TT/TH/RR/WO.
Lots of M19's had TT/TH but only about 20% were TT/TH/RR/WO.

Not all that had/have the red insert have white outline rear sights. My M66-1 has the insert but not the outline and the gun was ANIB when I bought it. Box has the insert marked but not the outline.

and it has TT/TH and marked on box?

Does it have 10 digit product code label?

Box doesn't have the product code label, I guess it fell off. It is a separate label on boxes of this age, on the opposite end. My M66-1 is a RB 2-1/2", so it has a standard hammer and trigger, but it has a red insert front sight. But the rear sight is not outlined and the box shows it that way.

OTOH, on my M19-3 box, it does not show either the red insert or white outline marked, but my revolver is a 3T . Pardon how dirty it is, I like to shoot it.

Probably more unusual not to have them.
Like this early Bird 66.
Does not have Target Hammer-Trigger.
Bought it used, no info on original configuration.

I suppose the original configuration only differed in the stocks it came with. Love that stainless rear sight! That is an early one, beautiful.
