I know this will open a can of worms but idea on value? No box or paperwork. N serial # puts it around 78-79 area. Was told it has only been factory test fired.

I have one made around same time as yours and in beautiful condition. I'm guessing in this market between $800 and. $900.

I'm finding in my area using a BB for Gun for values is useless. Most of the time values in the book seem low. 100% for this one is listed in the book at $750. If that was the asking price this post would be "hey look what i bought" instead of asking value.

One of the best ways is to search Gun Broker, and their finished auctions which actually sold, and see what the average price is. You can also search the forum here.

Those are the real world market prices.

Today, on Gun Broker, $1000 for that piece wouldn't surprise me one little bit. But, probably in the $850 to $900 range.

I jumped on it. I have found a couple of these before in my area and dragged my feet wondering if it was a good price, by the time I decided to buy it was gone. I had a trade +cash so it did not hurt as bad. I'll post up some pics a little later. Now I have to work on getting the S&W 520 that I found. Unfired, still wrapped in the S&W paper with the original blue box.
