4 Of My Most Treasured S&Ws Came From This Forum's Classified Ads

I should have mentioned that my finest revolver came from a friend I met on this forum and he sponsored me to become a member of the SWCA. Although not purchased off of the Classified section of this forum.

Sal Raimondi.

RIP, my friend!
A friend to many, one of which I am proud to be! I met Sal on this forum and had the honor and pleasure to shake the man's hand at a SWCA symposium. We shared many emails about Chief Special Targets!
A member forever missed!

Thanks to the Silver Back!

First seen on this forum as a post by Lee Jarrett, who also made it possible for me to purchase this one of 4 guns ever made by S&W!

I'm not sure that I've purchased guns directly from the classifieds section on the forum, BUT 1) I have purchased lots of grips, paperwork and boxes from the classifieds and 2) over the years I have purchased guns directly from forum members, and have also purchased multiple guns from leads that forum members have graciously given me. Also, this forum led me to the S&WCA, where I have met some great folks and have bought and sold multiple guns.

Thanks LEE!!! And a big THANKS to all the mods, who make this a great place to hang out each day!!!:)

I bought two guns off a deceased member from Texas, one a beautiful 15-3 that's probably the nicest blue job of any revolver I have. Recently got a Ruger Sec. Six, a gun I've been wanting for quite some time. It came to me exactly as TOYMAN described it. And it shoots spot on. Even the "Bubba" work somebody did to it were as he described, and affects the shooting not one bit. The knowledge here is priceless. The comedy is pretty good, too.

I had no idea that a Model 25-10 existed, let alone that I needed one, until I saw this listed here:

It quickly became my favorite double action revolver to shoot. Many thanks to ddeanjohnson for selling it to me!

P.S. it’s far from my most visually appealing firearms; however, it runs perfectly.
