I've posted photos of this a couple of times since I bought it several days ago. Today was the day I got to give it its initial testing.

I shot 2 ten-round groups from 7 yards, offhand, just to see if I'd need to adjust the sight. Nope! I love it when that happens. It does shoot a tad low (I was aiming at the center), but I figure 180 gr. JHP reloads will fix that.

The rest of my shooting was basically "mag dumps" to see if I could get it to malfunction. Nope! I love it when that happens, too.

I went through just shy of 100 rounds, and I'll take it out at least a couple more times before I start carrying it. I couldn't be more pleased with my new purchase!

The 4006 has been my primary carry pistol for many years I've found it to both accurate and reliable. Good choice!

Agreed the 4006 is a great Gen 3 pistol.
Good luck finding magazines for it. GB has been the only place I have found them. I have 1 mag with a blue follower that will not hold the slide back. Yellow followers work fine.

CDNN has gobs of used 4006 magazines. Prices go up and down.
