Up for sale is a very nice example of the 4006 TSW w/ adjustable sights.
Excellent plus condition - the only blemish I can find is a very small mark just above the serial # & below the slide release.
Easily a 9/10 cosmetically and functions perfectly.
This appears to be a one-owner gun that spent it's life in the box- I purchased it from a dealer and do not have any historical data. The original brown paper wrapper is still in the case.
This is not a CHP gun. I looked long and hard for a non-CHP 4006 that was near pristine and paid a premium for its condition. This is my only 3rd Gen S&W, and I'm selling to fund my M1 Garand habit.
I've put less than 20 rounds through it. I did not zero the pistol - just verified appropriate function. It shot tight groups right out of the box.
Includes two 10 round factory mags and the original box w/ model stickers intact. No other paperwork included. First three digits of the serial # is VJE.
Price is $750 net to me and your FFL must accept shipment from a non-FFL (I hold a Type 03 C&R FFL, not an 01). I can ship FedEx or UPS based on buyer preference.
Payment options include USPS Money Order, discreet Paypal (F&F) or Zelle.
No trades and not a fire sale. Please ensure this firearm is legal to own in your specific location. IL residents are welcome to request an in-person cash transaction, but I will follow all ISP private firearm rules and will require a copy of your valid FOID prior to any sale. Private IL buyers must be certified through the ISP FOID website to be eligible to purchase - no exceptions.
