4006 ?

I found a 4006 at a LGS. It has some minor holster wear, but otherwise looks to be in great condition, and the asking price of $369 seems well within reason. I'm wanting another .40 and this fits the bill rather nicely.

What say ye masses of the S&W clan?

Also, what are your holsters of choice? I know my 6690 works well in leather made for a Glock 19. What would be an equivalent for the 4006, or does someone still make holsters specifically for them?

Buy it. That's a good price. Look on gunbroker and see. I'd start with $350 OTD, and see where it goes. Good luck!

Why is it that stores in driving distance of me charge more than $550 for these weapons when they have them to sell?

The 4006 is a tough, reliable, and accurate pistol. At $369, I'd try talking them down (it never hurts) but be willing to pay asking price as long as the condition ok.
