There is a clean 4043 at a local pawn shop that owes me a store credit. They are asking $435 I'm thinking more like $300-350 is this in line?
What about the frame cracking issues?
I am a 10mm shooter ( S&W 1066 and a Glock 29) and could use the 10mm dies and my 180 grain gold dots so--.
Really wanted a Gen 2 or 3 9 mm double single as I also have a couple Browning high Powers in 9mm but the light frame .40 is appealing and this will likely become my EDC piece if I snag it.
What would be a good deal on one that is say at around 85% and where should I look for potential frame cracks on these.
Thanks guys.

Nobody have any info on these?
From what I see from searching the Gun sale sights is the normal market value appears to run between $300 to 400 with the higher end above $350 being above 85% with the box and at least 2 mags.
Still would like a little feedback from 4043 owners on the reliability issues and in particular the frame cracking issues. I am seeing info all over the map on the frame issue some saying as long as the pistol is properly maintained it not an issue then others saying there are issues with lower round counts.
Can some one give me a real picture of the long term reliability with these pistols as this one will NOT be a safe queen!
There is also a 669 I can pick up in 90% shape and likely for about the same $ at another branch of the Pawn Shop. I like the the idea of the light weigh and simple controls as a EDC pistol with the 4043 if it is going to hold up so--.
