4046 yellow mag followers

Will I have any problem with 4046 magazines with yellow followers? I asked once already but didn't quite understand the answer.

I bought some used mags with the yellow followers and replaced them with the blue because they were beat up a bit. If they work, and they probably will, you are good to go. Otherwise you can get the blue ones from S&W for a reasonable cost.

Take your mags apart and check the springs and the locking tabs. If those parts are rusted you might want to replace them at the same time.

Thanks for the reply. Does anyone know the reason for the switch to the blue followers? Do they work in the same mags as the yellow followers? The mags I got were slightly used ones from CDNN (no rust)
