Emma Maddie is getting stronger, but its a very slow process.. the 3-7 days could turn into 3-7 weeks...not sure at this point...we are hoping she will walk again....not sure.....we are still hopeful and hanging in there

A prayer happened a few minutes ago from the Arizona desert directly to God.

Don't get impatient. Recovery from major surgery can be slow to ponderous and even unpleasant according to my body, and that does not include the impacts of laying in a bed (1 day will take about 7 to overcome) and anesthesia (which takes a long time to process and get out of the body). The first month I was exuding crud from the anesthesia, and while much better, I am not bonebreaking it down. I am roughly 6 1/2 weeks downrange from my kidney transplant and there are still some lingering effects even though the process went well and in many ways I am already better than I was on 7/17.
I have developed a lot of faith in the medical care I have gotten and the knowledge and proficiency has improved by a lot from the mid 90s when my Dad had his heart troubles, eventually fatal. I am hoping that you can find faith in the process similar to mine.
