4056TSW Value

I have a very good to excellent 4056TSW sitting in the safe with 2 mags and non matching box. I was wondering what the value would be and any information about them.

Based on observed serial numbers it looks like around 1100 were manufactured, primarily in the MSE100x-MSE20xx serial number range, with one observed with a VJA9576 serial number. Does yours fall within this serial number range?

I recently sold mine in similar condition for $650 and the buyer didn't blink. I kinda wish I'd asked for $750.

The 4056TSW is unique in the fact that they were only made in the "pre-rail" configuration. A railed version never followed, unlike most other models.

Another novelty about them is that they are an all stainless steel 3.5" compact as most have an alloy frame.

Thanks for the info. Mine falls into the MSE100X range almost at the very beginning. Very nice gun, I am just not a 40 cal guy.

MSE1008 is the lowest SN I've observed.
