I do not have any pet loads for the 41 but below is some info from there web page. I use Trailboss for the 44 special and have had nice results near the top recommended load but I worked up to it, Plenty of info for unique on the board and web, remember to cross reference back to a manual just to insure of crazy typos, hope this helps a bit
IMR has good info for the 215 cast Lead Flat point
9.2 grains of Unique, Remington cases, CCI large magnum primer, 215-gr LSWC hardcasts of any type, moderate roll crimp - my longtime all-the-time .41 Mag load. Gives mid-1100-fps-range velocities from a 4" gun, and is very accurate (Hey, it's a .41!
)
6.5 grains Trail Boss, CCI cases, CCI large standard primer, any 215-gr LSWCs, moderate roll crimp - POWDER PUFF for the .41! My Gina loves shooting this. I would note that it was one of the least accurate .41 loads I've ever rolled, but that just means that it shot like a .45 Glock so it's no problem. Velocities around 860 fps from the 4" gun, deviation around 15 fps.
I don't use the cast 215 grain bullets but I do load the 210 grain Berry Bullets with 9.7 grains of Unique. I get right at 1200 fps, which is the max recommended for plated bullets. It is a very pleasant, low-recoil load.
I use Unique for my mid-range (aka combat) .41 loads and 8 grains is the magic number for all my 210-220 grain SWCs and also for my 208 gr. wadcutter.
As for the Trail Boss, I have no use for it and want nothing to do with it. I prefer Bullseye for my light loads as it's much more versatile and much more accurate.
8.0 grains of Unique is what I have been using since the 1970s...950+- fps depending on what bullet one uses. Yesterday I tried 8.0 with a 260 Keith from a custom Lee mould and they shot excellent.
