Hello to all,

Been awhile since i have posted so here goes... I know somewhere in the forum i saw a place to check s.n.'s to find out when a gun was born... I have a 686 in the 4" which i bought in 1987 from a dealer in Vt. (NEW)... The firing pin is on the hammer which i understand is no longer there... Can someone direct me to the right spot so i can check this out ???
