I have asked this before without success but thought I would try again. I understand by removing the magazine disconnect these triggers can be improved. Does anyone have a picture of this modification? I don't want to do this without a visual aid.
Thanks,
Jeff

JNW, I have recently found the answer to your question. I recently got a 622 and the mag safety wasn't working. It also had a rattle that I thought might be related. Below you will find a "before" photo of a 622 VR that I rescued. Under the right hand grip panel (ejection port side) you will see the mag safety lever and a spring. The 622 I recently got was missing the spring on that lever. Replacing the spring temporarily with one from a ballpoint pen made everything function as it should.

So in reverse, removing the spring will disable the mag safety, but I didn't notice any appreciable improvement in the trigger. To be honest, this one has a bit of a gritty feel compared to the others and someday I hope to get the guts to take the sideplate off and really clean the internals well.

Man, I can rapid fire my 622 and hit a 2" target at 25 feet every time. What is to be improved?

.22lr ammo regularly in stock at normal prices would be an improvement.

I just saw an ad for .22 in stock, so I clicked on it. Easy to see why they had it in stock. 12.00 for a 50 round box of Blazer. Are you kidding me? .24 a round for .22lr???????!!!!!!! I hope they choke on it.

True. But the trigger is perfectly fine, it's just a .22.

Buy a .45 and save some money.... Heck .223 is cheaper than .22lr. I don't even shoot any of my 22's anymore.
