Anyone have a 422 .22 semiauto? What's your opinion of it? Picked one up yesterday for $200+tax. Never seen one before but I figure it would be worth 200. I've been getting into the .22s lately, cheap to shoot and fun to.

I have six pistols of that series, and had two others. They are great guns. The finish on the #422 does scratch off fairly easily.

Tons "o" fun...my 422 is freakishly accurate too.
Have fun

Here it is. Thanks for the reponses. I'll be careful with the finish. Looks very good right now. Funny thing, 2 weeks ago a friend and I went to the FOP range and while shooting he found what looked like a grip screw. We checked our guns and did not find any missing. I have an old Remmington double barrel 12 ga. that has lost 1 screw that holds 1 of the hammers on so I took the screw hoping it would fit, it did not. Well, when I got this 422 the only thing wrong was it was missing 1 grip screw. The found screw is a perfect match. Luck like this don't happen to me often but I'm thankful it did this time.

I have a stainless steel 2206 same family as the 422 it a great gun very accurate.
