does anyone know of someone in the houston tx. area who does quality restorations ? this one has a nickle finish. thanks. john.

John, I am not aware of anyone in that area, but I believe Gene Williams is out you way. Might want to google his name. How much restoration does it need ? Was it originally nickle ? You may already be aware3 of Turnbull and Chicoine, who does superb work, are top quality craftsmen and are duly compensation for same.Good luck in your quest. In my opinion the 2nd. model has never gotten the attention it deserves.

I met this guy at a gunshow last year. He is in Houston and does all kinds of refinishing. His card says 30 years experience.

Sorry....I haven't used him and can't vouch for his work but it might be worth a call. His company is Smith Protective Surfaces and they have a website by the same name.
