.44 Double Action Frontier…I think?

The lack of bluing on the trigger guard and thumb latch tells me that this revolver has little or no original finish. The more prominent sideplate seam than would be expected tells me it's likely this revolver has been buffed at some point. It might also be fitted improperly, meaning that buffing is less likely, but the lack of blued thumb latch and trigger guard is obvious.

Being a large bore and antique does make it desirable as a shooter grade revolver.
