44 mag data for 240gr.

Hey All,
I told my dad I would ask around for any ideas for load data for the bullets he picked up at a local gun show. They are a 240gr. flat point FMJ and he is just looking for any ideas as to which powder and OAL may work for him. Our Speer manuals have similar bullets, but not identical. You can't be too careful, right? Does anybody have any recommendations or loads they have used for this bullet? Thanks in advance.

I like those bullets. Mine have a cannelure, so I don't really measure a specific OAL. Just keep it consistent and make sure it fits in the cylinder or cycles in the action I want to use it in.
