i have a smith & wesson model 29, with the long 101/2 or 105/8 barrel. adjustable target sights and packmyer grip. has smith & wesson see through scope mount and shoulder harnerss holster, no scope. excellent cosmetic condition and tight, looking for retail value and trade in value. any comments welcome

Book value is about $600. Something that may affect value is that you don't have the original grips.

I picked one up new in the box a couple years ago for $650 and thought I did pretty good. I've seen them listed for as high as a grand, but I haven't see one actually sell that high. If I were you, I'd spend $30 or so for a set of correct factory grips. I think you'd make your money back and then some on the final sale.
