I came across a box of new 44 magnum brass with headstamp "KEITH 44" Would anyone know who made this? I have had no luck searching the NET or the auction sites. My guess would be Remington, but nothing to verify that.

Those, and some Skeeter Skelton and Bill Jordan, were sold 20 or so years ago by Midway. While I have never seen anything specific about the maker I believe the concensus is that they were made by Starline as a custom issue for Midway.

That would make sense as Starline first got into business making the Midway stamped brass.
I still shoot some of that in 44 mag. and it's good brass.
Your KEITH brass could be worth something today as a collector's item.

I bought some Bill .357 brass and some Keith .44 from Midway many years ago. I found the Bill last year and sold it to Doc44 as his first name is Bill.

Well, while Alaska is aprox 5Kmiles away,if you put some cognac in that coffee,I might be tempted to make the trip....just to talk about guns of course.....

Funny, I was just reading thru an Apr-1990 issue of Shooting Times, that I picked up at the recent gun show, & noticed an ad in it for "Midway Arms Inc." & their Midway stamped brass (.44Mag @ $54/500), tumblers & ammo boxes. Didn't know them back then. They're still at the same address.

.

I wasn't buying anything direct from Midway in 1990 (no online store dont-cha-know) but did somehow end up with a couple of hundred of those 44 mag cases.
I think they have a little less capacity than the big boys and are heavier, thicker.
My fave load is 18 gr 2400/260 WFNGC in the Midway and 19 grains in W-W.
I either bought them at the LGS or at swap meets, gun shows, etc.
They still work fine although I don't shoot magnums much any more.

I must say Midway now has some of the most impressive online store software out there.
That has to be a massive program and yet it works well.

To the point I do remember that brass from back when. Never had any but recall seeing it in the old flyer they used to send out.
