A few months ago, while surfing a Florida Gun Trader web site I ran across a 4" Nickel 57 no dash. I thought it would make a nice companion to my nickel 58 that I have had for a long time. So I was surfing the same site and ran across the exact same gun except it is a 29-2. Well you know the rest of the story:

P.S. I wonder why a fixed sight .44 mag was never made?

I always thought Smith should make a Model 58 type .44 mag.
Would buy one in a heartbeat.
