.44 special j frame is it possibile?

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I couldn't find it on here so is it possibile to make a j frame into a .44 special? I know it could only be a 4 shot weapon since the size of the cylinder is so small. Any feedback would be appreciated thank you

No. The frame window is too small, and if enlarged sufficiently for .44 Special you would have, at least, a K-frame. A 4 shot cylinder would be the same diameter as a 5 shot anyway.

Well I don't know of any floatin around out there, but they make .45 colt / .410 derringers...so who knows!

No, and no on the K frame also.
Besides the cylinder problem, the barrel has to screw into the front of the frame. Drill and tap the J or K frames for a .44 barrel, and you don't have any frame left.
Make the K frame thicker in the barrel thread area, and guess what? You have an L frame.
