I just paid for a nice light 2" 5 shot snubby for pocket duty.
I was just wondering if anyone had any pet short barrel loads worked up.
On hand I have Unique powder,Winchester LP primers, Venom Ballistics 226 gr cast HPs, and Nosler 200 gr JHPs.
Anyone have a nice starting point for a rookie reloader for this belly gun?
Many thanks,

Jim

sorry, this may be a little late, but I have had very good results with 6.2gr of W-231 and Nosler 200gr JHPs using WLP. My Winchester brass is trimmed to 1.148"

Never too late... I see me having a .44 snubby for years to come.
Thanks

Will do, my standard load is 7.7 gr of unique under a 226 gr Venom Ballistics HP... which is right at the top of the suggested loading.

For my 2.5" Taurus 431 and 3" S&W 696 I have loaded to 6.5gr of W-231 and WLP with the Nosler 200gr JHP.
CAUTION this load is Over published Max. data for .44 spl.
