Years ago I purchased a stainless steel 44spl(?) snub nose. I had to sell
the pistol to help buy the $2000. out of pocket monthly prescription bill, she had breast cancer, battled it for 10 years before passing. I can't remember the model number. Looking for one.

rosefarm has a couple very nice looking 44 specials for sale in the "Guns for Sale" section.

Why not look at any of the 29/69's?
If you were in California Id take you out.
God bless

Cannot speak to the 624, but recently picked up a 696 no dash.
Finally got a chance to shoot it yesterday. Would recommend it to anyone who likes 44 spcl wheel guns. Very comfortable to shoot with 200 gr hard casts at about 800 FPS.
The down side of the 696 or 624 is they are getting very pricey.
Have never shot one, but the newer 69 may be a better way to go.

First off I'm sorry for your loss My wife is currently taking chemo as a matter of fact I will be taking her in a few hours to tratment center .I would agree with breakaway the 296 is a fine revolver and the 44 special is a great round .
